Regular Wednesday sessions now rotate between the 22@ innovation district in Poblenou and a converted warehouse on Carrer de Sant Lluís in Gràcia. The 22@ location sits inside the former Can Jaumandreu factory complex, while the Gràcia spot operates under the Barcelona Activa entrepreneurship program. Both venues require advance registration and cap attendance at 220 to keep discussions practical.
These spots differ from single-company campuses elsewhere by mixing employees from competing firms with freelancers and university researchers on the same night. Attendees often arrive by bike along Avinguda Diagonal and continue conversations at nearby terraces on Carrer de Pere IV after the formal talks end.
Attendance figures and next steps
Barcelona Tech City recorded 1,240 tech-focused meetups across the city in 2025, with average ticket prices listed at 12 euros for non-members. The July 15 follow-up event on sustainable hardware will take place at the same Pier 01 address and opens registration today through the Barcelona Activa portal.
Anyone planning to attend should register before Friday to secure a spot and bring a laptop if they want to join the hands-on portion scheduled from 18:30 to 21:00.
